Bladecliff
sounds just as good as the cd but the artwork looks way better here on vinyl bigger and in much better splendor in my opinion m/
Niwield
My copy sounds amazing! Unlike other ppl commenting about crackling and unwanted noise in left channel that is unfortunate but I can only speak for my copy and there is no such interference anywhere to be found on any tracks. I am incredibly pleased with this copy, some of the compression is still there in a couple spots notably when Lars hits his snare but only about 3% of the time. This remaster significantly lowered the compression/clipping/fuzz from the original cd version because most of the tracks have absolutely none of that unwanted hiss. Well done! Exactly what I hoped the vinyl would be, ok it's even better than I predicted. I'd love to find out what the dynamic range on my version is because it's thoroughly impressive.
Sharpbinder
My copy also has major crackling for the first two tracks, primarily left channel. Such bullshit paying $30 for something I'm now unlikely to listen to.
Roram
Can't tell if mastered for vinyl or CD rip... Either way, surface noise is prevalent in my copy.
Kigabar
New copy has pretty audible crackling throughout the first two tracks, only on the left channel. Don't know if this is universal or just mine, kind of disappointed though.
xander
Mine too... The album sounds progressively better as it goes on, but the first side is noisier than it should be. Still better overall than the CD though.
Fani
my copy has the same issue, pretty disappointed
